Does Your Manly Look Make You Less Kissable?
Today I was checking out some YouTube Videos and ran across the most ingenious ad campaign I think I have ever seen. Gillette, a leading Manufacturer of Men’s (and Women’s) Shaving products, has jumped on the video marketing bandwagon. ( I love video) Yeah, I know technically a commercial is video but this is slightly different. Not once is Gillette’s name mentioned in the video, there is no product placement. It’s an honest video on how men’s facial hair might make them less kissable. It’s Called Are We Killing the Kiss. There is an entire website dedicated to the campaign – KissAndTellUs.com
Check out the Documentary – It’s right under 5 Minutes – Grab some popcorn and a soda. Enjoy!
Ok now I have to admit, I’m not entirely a fan of kissing, necking is awesome, but actually kissing on the lips not entirely my favorite of activities. I’m not sure why, but I’d rather cuddle with occasional peck than a full make out session. That’s just me, I know some ladies like kissing very much. But if I were going to kiss a guy I’d prefer a clean shaving guy to peck on. I’m not a fan of having my face ripped to shreds in the process. Stubble. The archenemy of intimacy.
In my opinion, nothing kills the mood better than a make out folly. Now if a guy were to try and kiss me and it’s uncomfortable I think that might be the last time said guy kisses me. Apparently Gillette agrees.
Use a bandaid? Ouch! See 38% of women said they would avoid intimacy, I’m not so crazy after all. So with all this being said I want to know your thought? Clever Marketing? Are Pro or Anti Stubble? Comment below – I can’t wait to hear your responses.

Wow! A band aid? Never had irritation that bad!
Me either! I don’t think I’d ever kiss a guy with facial hair again if it caused a war wound.
My husbands shaves every other day, he knows how much it irritates my skin.

That’s hilarious. When my S/O goes without shaving I tell him not to kiss our babies because they prefer that their skin remain ON their faces lol

Haha, how funny! My husband has 5:00 shadow by noon so I am encouraging him to grow it out a little… it would be softer that way!! But for now he still insists on shaving (twice a day, if it’s a special occasion). I suspect that he’s keeping Gilette in business singlehandledly, LOL.
